Welcome inside a cavernous Coleman Coliseum -- capacity 2,055 -- for No. 9 Alabama vs. Kentucky basketball. The Crimson Tide (13-3, 8-0) will have a nine-game winning streak entering this one against a Wildcat team that’s 5-9 overall and 4-3 in the league.

Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. CT. Refresh the page for the latest all evening.

-- Alabama 70, Kentucky 59 (final). Alabama won its 10th straight game for the first time since 1996.

-- Alabama went on a 10-0 run to take a 62-54 lead with under 90 seconds to play.

-- Alabama scored four quick points in less than 30 seconds to retake the lead, 56-54 with 2:59 left. Timeout, UK.

-- Kentucky 54, Alabama 52 (3:57): Alabama is 3-for-16 from the field this half and 1-for-4 from 3. Both teams with 14 turnovers and Shackelford’s 13 tops Alabama’s scoring right now. Not the ideal way to play the first game as a top-10 team since 2007.

-- Kentucky 51, Alabama 49 (7:03): Alabama went more than 10 minutes (ten) before making its first field goal of the half. The same team that made 23 shots from 3-point range last week at LSU is 0-for-2 in the first 13 minutes of the second half. This is just a rock fight right now. Alabama showing little of the offensive firepower that it had as recently as the opening moments of tonight’s game. Tide is 2-for-11 from the field this half.

-- Kentucky 43, Alabama 41 (11:42): UK just took its first lead of the game with 12:49 to play. The Tide is 0-for-7 from the field this half with all six points coming on foul shots.

-- Alabama 38, Kentucky 38 (15:41): Alabama is 0-for-4 from the field and 3-for-4 from the line after taking just two in the first half. Not much rhythm to this half so far. Kentucky still hasn’t held a lead.

-- Alabama missed the first four shots of the second half as the disjointed offense continues.

-- Alabama 35, Kentucky 32 (halftime): Quinerly’s 3-pointer beat the halftime buzzer to break the tie. It ended a skid of 1-for-11 shooting from 3-point range after Alabama’s hot start. Primo’s 10 leads the Tide that shot 43.8% in the half (5-for-16 from 3). UK tied the game with 1:36 left in the half on a wild buzzer-beating 3 from Davion Mintz. Sloppy half on both ends.

-- Alabama 26, Kentucky 22 (3:55): Alabama had missed seven straight 3s before Primo made it 26-20. UK went more than six minutes without a basket but Alabama turnovers and misses kept them from taking advantage. Just a sloppy game on both sides. Hard to watch, really. A long way from last Tuesday at LSU.

-- Alabama 19, Kentucky 16 (7:41): Tide went more than four minutes without points and committed four turnovers in the stretch. A John Petty dunk ended an 8-0 UK run that cut the nine-point lead to 17-16. Tide down to 8-for-16 shooting and missed the last six from 3.

-- Alabama 17, Kentucky 12 (11:31): UK scored the last four points and Alabama’s hot start cooled, relatively. Alabama is 7-for-10 from the field after making the first five. Tide also has five turnovers. Alabama’s been able to get to the rim, something that rarely happened against elite UK teams.

-- Alabama 13, Kentucky 5 (15:50): The Tide hasn’t missed a shot in five attempts -- three of which were 3s. Josh Primo has 7 points and Kentucky is 2-for-7 from the field.

-- Alabama 10, Kentucky 2 (16:45): Josh Primo has 7 of the first 10 Tide points and UK calls a quick timeout.

-- Alabama scored the first three points on an Alex Reese 3 from the corner. Brandon Boston went down with an apparent ankle injury with 18:17 left for Kentucky.

-- Injured Alabama forward Jordan Bruner was going through pregame warmups. The Yale grad transfer hurt his meniscus exactly two weeks ago at Kentucky and was supposed to be out a few weeks.

-- James Rojas was also dressed for warmups after missing the last two games with an undisclosed medical issue.

-- Alabama is favored by between 6.5 and 8.5 points to beat Kentucky, according to Vegas Insider.
