Josh Allen is one of the hottest quarterbacks in the NFL but got off to a rough start. Allen was intercepted on Buffalo's third play from scrimmage. Allen's pass when off the hands of wide receiver Andre Roberts and was picked off by Malcolm Butler.

Tennessee quarterback Ryan Tannehill tossed a 16-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Brown two plays later. Brown is playing for the first time since the season opener. Tennessee 7, Buffalo 0

Allen settled back in and completed passes of 9 and 19 yards to Stefon Diggs to get into Titans territory. A 15-yard completion to Gabriel Davis advanced the Bills to the Tennessee 33-yard line and Allen scrambled for another first down on third-and-7. Allen connected with Davis for a 23-yard TD but the score was nullified by a Bills illegal shift penalty. Allen converted a third-and-15 with a 16-yard pass to Roberts. A 9-yard pass to Davis got the Bills to the 3 and Allen threw a touchdown to Isaiah McKenzie to cap the 15-play drive. Buffalo converted a third-and-13, third-and-7 and third-and-15 on the possession. Tennessee 7, Buffalo 7

The Titans gained one first down on its second drive and Brett Kern punted 55 yards inside the Buffalo 10.

The Bills went three-and-out and Kalif Raymond returned Corey Bojorquez's punt 40 yards to the Buffalo 30-yard line. Rookie wide receiver Nick Westbrook was called for pass interference but Raymond caught a 20-yard pass over the middle to set up first-and-10 at the 20-yard line. Tannehill found Brown for 16 yards and Derrick Henry plowed in for the touchdown from 1 yards out. Tennessee 14, Buffalo 7

Dawson Knox opened the Bills' possession with a 15-yard catch and Diggs hauled in a 14-yard reception to get into Titans' territory. Allen was sacked by outside linebacker Harold Landry but got the yards back on a 12-yard pass to Davis. Allen went to Diggs for 12 yards for a first down. T.J. Yeldon had carries of 3 and 4 yards and Allen threw incomplete intended for Diggs on third down. Rookie kicker Tyler Bass made a 43-yard field goal. Tennessee 14, Buffalo 10

Tannehill passed to tight end Jonnu Smith for 14 yards, rookie running back Darrynton Evans ran right for 9 yards and Tannehill completed to Westbrook for 7 yards to get to midfield. Smith caught another pass and Henry ran for 5 yards and a first down but the Titans' drive sputtered at the Bills' 37. Tennessee elected not to attempt a field goal, took a delay of game penalty and punted to the Bills' 9-yard line. Buffalo went three-and-out and Bojorquez punted 74 yards. Yes, 74 yards.

Tennessee took over with under three minutes left in the half. Henry rushed for 12 yards, Tannehill scrambled for another first down and then the quarterback completed three straight passes to get to the Bills' 35. Norman was called for defensive pass interference and Tannehill completed to tight end Anthony Firkser to set up first-and-goal at the 10. Tannehill scored on a 10-yard touchdown run. Tennessee 21, Buffalo 10

Tennessee started from its 12-yard line to open the half. Tannehill completed three times to Brown for first downs to get to midfield. Buffalo's defense held and Kern punted 41 yards to the Bills' 3.

Buffalo made an effort to get Cole Beasley involved in the second half. Beasley brought in catches of 8, 5, 6 and 10 yards. McKenzie lost seven yards but Allen made good on another third-and-long with a 14 yard pass to Diggs before he threw a second interception to Butler. Butler returned the pick 68 yards to the Bills' 12 before he was tackled by Allen.

Buffalo appeared to stop Tennessee but defensive end Quinton Jefferson was flagged for roughing the passer and the Titans made the Bills pay. Tannehill threw a strike to Smith for a 4-yard touchdown on the next play. Tennessee 28, Buffalo 10

Allen made a pretty pass to Davis for 11 yards to close the quarter.

Buffalo put together another long drive and Allen fired a 22-yard touchdown pass to Yeldon to finish off the 14-play possession. The Bills went for the two-point conversion but Allen's pass to Beasley fell incomplete. Tennessee 28, Buffalo 16

The Titans moved into Bills' territory when Tannehill got scrambled along the right sideline for 23 yards. Rookie defensive end A.J. Epenesa dropped Henry for a 3-yard loss but then Epenesa was called for a neutral zone infraction on third-and-7 and running back Jeremy McNichols picked up the first down with a 7-yard run. Henry finished it off with a 9-yard touchdown run. Tennessee 35, Buffalo 16

Andre Roberts had the ball knocked out on the ensuing kickoff, and the ball was recovered by the Titans and returned to the Bills' 18. Tennessee ran the ball four straight times and Tannehill earned the first down with 3 yards on fourth-and-1. Tannehill sidearmed a 7-yard TD pass to Smith. Tennessee 42, Buffalo 16
