Former VP Biden Vetting Klobuchar For Potential Running Mate

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Former Vice President Joe Biden is asking Senator Amy Klobuchar to undergo vetting as a potential running mate for his presidential campaign.
C-B-S News and the Hill confirmed that Biden is considering the Minnesota Democrat. It’s not yet clear if Klobuchar has consented to the process. She was Biden’s rival for the Democratic presidential nomination until just before Super Tuesday when Klobuchar dropped out of the race and endorsed Biden.
Analysts say Biden selecting Klobuchar as a running mate could anger left-leaning Democrats because Klobuchar is generally seen as a centrist.
