The dark side of “Tiger King” just got even more sinister.

The star of the TV show “Ghost Adventures” says he investigated Joe Exotic’s former zoo — and found the restless ghost of his tragic late husband, according to a report.

Zak Bagans, who hosts the paranormal detectives series, told Entertainment Tonight he encountered the spirit of Travis Maldonado, who died of an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound on the property during the hit Netflix docuseries.

”I 100 percent believe that Travis Maldonado’s spirit was there,” Bagans said. “He’s trying to send messages out.”

During a spooky investigation of the former Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park, a tracking tool led ghost hunters to a phantom-like figure that revealed a startling discovery, he said.

“We captured a figure on a device that we use… and this figure was pointing at something in a closet. That directed us to go look in that closet. And when we looked on the top shelf we found an item that belonged to Travis,” Bagans said.

Bagans said he believes Maldonado — who suffered from drug addiction before his death at age 23 — has unfinished business.

“Travis was not ready to leave this earth. He was not ready. This was an accident, and he still cares about a lot of the people that were there, and he wants to speak. He wants to convey messages,” Bagans said.

While he was there, an overall frightening “energy” swirled around the zoo due to crime , scandals and death — both human and animal — that have plagued it in recent years, he said.

“It really is a tragedy that occurred, already in a chaotic storm of energy from the events that you and everybody that has watched Tiger King know of,” Bagans said. “And let me tell you, going there, it was the same thing.”

“I believe that there is an underlying residual energy attached to this place, particularly in this area called the Back 40,” he said — referring to a site where dead tigers were once buried. “That scared me.”

Bagans also urged Exotic’s rival Carole Baskin, whose husband went missing mysteriously, to let him her examine her property.

“Carole Baskin, if you are watching this… I ask you, please, let us come investigate your property,” he said.
