Today, May 28, 2020, beloved Disney Channel star Cameron Boyce would have been celebrating his 21st birthday and the fans around the world are taking to Twitter to send their wishes and give a special tribute to his memory.

Born in 1999, Cameron Boyce won the hearts of Disney Channel viewers playing the role of Luke Ross on the hit show Jessie. He would go on to play the son of Disney villain Cruella DeVil in the Disney Channel original movies, The Descendants. His acting also transcended the Disney studio and starred alongside Adam Sandler in the hit comedy, Grownups. Fans will forever remember when he passed away of an ongoing medical condition on July 7, 2019.

Fans and co-stars remember Cameron as having a heart of gold. His charm and charisma were only matched by his kindness and warmth. He was also never afraid to stand up for what he believed in, and he challenged others to do the same.

Marking the day when one can legally drink alcohol–becoming a “full adult”–21st Birthdays are a major American milestone and one that Cameron’s friends, family, and fans no-doubt wish with all their might they could have celebrated with him.
