With allegations of murder swirling, it’s no surprise to find rumors of tormented spirits at Oklahoma‘s Greater Wynnewood Animal Park. Staff claim they hear disembodied voices and see shadow figures as well as mysterious lights. They’re convinced it’s the spirit of Travis Maldonado, who accidentally killed himself inside the park and, they insist, still haunts it as a dark mist.
The Ghost Adventures crew — Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley and Billy Tolley — brings cadaver dogs and forensics experts along to find out more. As the crew interviews park staff, new details emerge. And when the dogs get a possible hit for human remains, prompting the police to halt the investigation, the real digging starts.
“This investigation was wild from beginning to end. We went into it thinking we knew a little about this story already, but there were so many surprises at every turn,” Bagans said in a statement. “It’s a super-charged location and it felt surreal to be there. This special has all the drama, characters and twists that you would expect in any Joe Exotic story. But just when you think you’ve seen and heard it all, there’s more.”
