Nets big man Jeff Green was the subject of New York Post columnist Steve Serby’s latest player Q&A, and one of the things Serby asked was what Green would take from each of Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving if he was building a perfect basketball player.

Green has several thoughts for each one, but settled on KD’s size, Harden’s shooting, and Kyrie’s dribbling – but this was the full answer for Irving.

“I’d definitely have to start off with his ability to dribble the ball. The shot-making ability, the play-making ability, the way he can create off the dribble…that guy’s special, man.”

That led Serby to ask if Green feels Kyrie “misunderstood from the outside,” and this was his thought:

“Of course. Everybody’s different in this world, everybody has their own opinions on certain things, everybody has their own way of living. When people don’t like the way somebody’s living, they’re gonna judge and talk about how they’re doing, what they’re doing. He sees things the way he sees it. Being on the outside before this year, I never judged him once. He is who he is, and I love who he is. He’s a guy who thinks outside the box, he’s a guy who goes with his own opinions. I think people just need to allow him to be who he is and not judge him based off his opinion.”
