After revealing his “Cremated” makeup palette, Jeffree Star says it sold out in 20 minutes today but if you couldn’t make a purchase, you’re not out of luck.

Star says in a followup to the selling out message that they’ll be restocking the “Cremated” line as well as the “Jawbreaker” palette in mid-June.

After teasing a new makeup palette last week and showing it off in a video, Jeffree Star finally put it on sale today.

The new palette is the follow-up to highly-anticipated vampy-style Blood Lust Collection released back in February.

Now, it’s completely sold out and fans made that happen in less than 20 minutes.

Luckily though, if you’re looking to get your hands on the palette and weren’t lucky enough to get one on the first round there will be more. Jeffree Star says he spoke to his production team and they’re doing a restock in the middle of June.

No firm date for the restock is available yet but keep an eye here and on Jeffree Star’s social media for when it’s back.

Some people felt the name of the palette was poorly timed but Jeffree Star addressed this in a video on his YouTube channel.

“I created this to make people smile,” Star says. “I created a brand for all of the weirdos and people that really didn’t feel like they fit in. In no way was this created to be offensive ever.”

The “Cremated” palette was created last year before the pandemic began. Star shares that if he were to delay the collection’s launch, production schedules would force the collection to be pushed back to 2021. This would then cause consumers to receive expired makeup. He also says that he wants this collection to arrive before the launch of his summer collection.

Star explains that this palette was not created with ill-intentions and that he himself has had loved ones who were cremated.

“On a real level, my own father was cremated, my two dogs that passed away last year were cremated,” Star says. “So nothing ever comes from a negative place in my life. If you take it that way, that’s how you articulate things.”

You can read more about him addressing the name here.
