Philadelphia Eagles 23, Cincinnati Bengals 23 — as it happened
-
The Eagles tied the Bengals, 23-23, in one of the strangest games in recent memory. Both teams had costly mistakes, although the Eagles had more of them. Despite two interceptions from Carson Wentz and a plethora of missed opportunities, the Eagles had a 59-yard field goal to win the game in overtime. That was until Matt Pryor jumped offsides, pulling the team out of field goal range and forcing them to punt. Earlier in the overtime period, a holding penalty from Nate Herbig knocked the Eagles out of field goal range. The Bengals called a meek running play deep in their own territory to run the clock out and accept the draw. The Eagles are 0-2-1 with a trip to San Francisco coming up next Sunday.
