In the last game on Thursday night, the New York Knicks will travel out to the west coast to play the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center. This is the second-game of a back-to-back from Golden State.

The Warriors (8-6) are coming into this game on a two-game winning streak, after defeating the San Antonio Spurs 121-99 on Wednesday night. Golden State got a total team effort that saw four starters reach double figures. Superstar shooter Stephen Curry scored a game-high 26 points (10-17 FG, 4-8 3pt), grabbed 11 rebounds, and dished out seven assists. This season, Curry is averaging 28.1 points, 6.3 assists, and 5.6 rebounds in 34.4 minutes per game.

The Warriors’ second-leading scorer was rookie center James Wiseman, who had 20 points (8-11 FG), six rebounds, and four assists. As a team, Golden State shot 50.5 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from three-point range. On the defensive end, they held the Spurs to only 37.2 percent shooting from the field and a horrendous 12.1 percent from three-point range.

As for the Knicks (7-8), they are also riding a two-game winning streak. New York defeated the Orlando Magic 91-84 on Monday afternoon. Julius Randle and RJ Barrett led the way for the Knicks, who have a record of 5-5 in their last 10 games. Randle had a double-double consisting of 21 points and 17 rebounds. Meanwhile, Barrett was the game’s second-leading scorer with 22 points and he added 10 rebounds.

What can we expect from these two squads on Thursday night? And who should you pick against the spread? To answer those questions and more, here is our pick against the spread and a player prop you need to put some cash on.

New York Knicks vs. Golden State Warriors, 10:00 p.m. ET

The line for Thursday night’s contest is set at 4.5 points, with the Warriors being favored at home. As previously mentioned, it seems as if the Warriors have figured out something this week with their double-digit comeback win over the Lakers and the blowout win over the Spurs.

In both of those games, Curry received help from other players, rather that be Andrew Wiggins, Eric Paschall, Kelly Oubre Jr. or Wiseman. The Warriors also shot the ball well from the field at an average of 50.5 percent. This season, Golden State is pretty good ATS with a record of 6-3 in their last nine games. And at home, they have a record above .500 at 5-3 against the spread.

On the other end of the spectrum, the Knicks have not been so hot against the spread. In their last seven games, they have a record of 2-5. Surprisingly, New York’s only two wins came this week against Celtics (+7), and the Magic (+2). That being said, neither the Celtics or Magic have a shooter like Curry and both of those teams were missing key players that could swing a result. I’d like the Warriors to cover here, despite the Knicks playing a better brand of basketball this season.

This is a risky prop heading into Thursday night’s game, especially with how the Warriors have defended the three-point shot recently. But it’s also a fun prop that you should place on a single ticket. This season, Randle is averaging a double-double consisting of 22.8 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. He is also shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from behind the arc.

The former first-round pick has gone over 1.5 three-pointers made, nine times already this season. In the Knicks’ last four games, Randle is averaging exactly two three-pointers made per game on 5.5 attempts. Now granted, Randle might have some issues with the Warriors’ defense, which is only allowing teams to shoot 24.2 percent from distance in their last three games. However, he takes a healthy amount of shots from behind the line, which makes this a fun prop to go with.
