Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker will miss Sunday’s All-Star festivities due to a left knee sprain, the league announced on Friday.

He sustained the injury in Thursday night’s 120-98 win over the Golden State Warriors.

The team said in a press release that he is considered day-to-day and will be re-evaluated following the All-Star break.

Booker had previously been chosen by commissioner Adam Silver as a replacement for injured Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis.

The former Kentucky Wildcat was selected No. 3 overall by Team KD captain Kevin Durant in Thursday night’s NBA All-Star Draft.

Booker was also slated to participate in his fifth three-point contest, which he came out as the victor of in the 2018 edition.

Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley Jr. will replace Booker in both the All-Star Game and three-point contest on Sunday night in Atlanta.

The selection will be the first of Conley’s 14-year career.
