Suns’ second-half schedule includes a tough April road trip and just four ESPN/TNT games

The NBA released the second-half schedule on Wednesday, which for the Phoenix Suns will last through May 16 and feature 37 games to get the team to a full 72-game schedule after three postponements in January.

The schedule includes a five-game homestand from March 13-21 as well as an East Coast swing from April 19-26, and just six back-to-backs. After ten nationally televised games in the first half, the Suns will get just four to close the season.

For those of you who prefer to see rather than read, our own John Voita put together a helpful chart:

Other highlights from this slate of games (especially now that you can actually see games live at the arena again!) include the return of Ricky Rubio on March 18 and 19, the Lakers on March 21, a nationally televised game that could be big for seeding against Utah on April 7, and another potentially pivotal national game against the Clippers at home on April 28.

At 20-11, the Suns currently sit fourth in the Western Conference, tied in the loss column with the Lakers. They have a strong 11-6 record at home and have won 12 of their past 15 games, so they should carry momentum into the All-Star break and hope to lock up a top seed in the West during the second half.
