Thursday Night Football: Bengals vs. Browns

At least one Ohio NFL team will get their first win of the 2020 season on Thursday Night Football when the Cleveland Browns (0-1) host the Cincinnati Bengals (0-1).

The Browns were pretty badly obliterated in their Week 1 conference matchup with the Ravens, losing 38-6, and Baker Mayfield threw for 189 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Mayfield finished the day with a 53.8 percent completion rate, which is not great.

On the other end of the spectrum, the Bengals lost Week 1 against the Chargers in heartbreaking fashion — as they so often do. Joe Burrow was one missed field goal away from overtime and potentially his first NFL win. The rookie finished the day 23-of-36 (63.9 percent) for 193 passing yards, plus 46 rushing yards and a touchdown. Burrow became just the second quarterback to rush for more than 40 yards and a touchdown in his NFL debut since 1970.
