Felicia Spencer still is trying to make a name for herself, as she has participated in only three fights since signing with the UFC in March 2019. She'll go a long way on Saturday when she challenges Amanda Nunes for the women's featherweight title at UFC 250. The main UFC 250 fight card from UFC Apex in Las Vegas is scheduled to start at 10 p.m. ET. Spencer has had only nine fights in her entire Mixed Martial Arts career, while current two-division champion Nunes enters this bout having won 10 in a row.

Nunes is a -650 favorite (risk $650 to win $100), while Spencer is a +475 underdog in the latest UFC 250 odds from William Hill. In the co-main event, Cody Garbrandt (-150) squares off against Raphael Assuncao (+125) in a bantamweight fight. Before making your UFC 250 picks, make sure you see what SportsLine MMA analyst Brandon Wise has to say.

A CBS Sports editor specializing in MMA, Wise has been dissecting the sport for five years. He specializes in picking main-card fights for UFC, which has enabled him to be profitable every year. Wise went a perfect 5-0 at UFC 239 and was 4-1 at both UFC 245 and UFC 249. He also nailed Khabib Nurmagomedov's destruction of Conor McGregor in 2018, Stipe Miocic's upset of Daniel Cormier, Max Holloway's downfall in 2019 and Justin Gaethje's TKO victory over Tony Ferguson in May.

Across UFC 247, UFC 248 and UFC 249, Wise went 11-4 with his main-card picks, returning healthy profits for anyone following them. He also called Burns' big upset last Saturday over Woodley, who was a -175 favorite. Anyone who has consistently followed Wise is way up.

Now, with UFC 250 fast approaching, Wise carefully has studied every matchup on the main card, identified the best value in the UFC odds and released his MMA picks for each fight. He's only sharing those UFC picks here.

Wise knows Nunes, who is also the UFC women's bantamweight champion, will be making the first defense of her featherweight crown since making quick work of Cris Cyborg for the belt in December 2018. That victory, a 51-second knockout, made her the first woman in UFC history to win two titles and hold both simultaneously.

Nunes (19-4) is riding a 10-fight winning streak, the longest by a woman in UFC history and ninth-longest overall in the promotion, and can tie men's welterweight champion Kamaru Usman for the eighth-longest by defeating Spencer. The 32-year-old Brazilian, who defended her bantamweight title with a unanimous decision over Germaine de Randamie in December, owns the UFC women's records for most wins (12) and most title-fight victories (seven).

Spencer (8-1) atoned for her lone professional loss the last time she stepped into the Octagon, registering a first-round TKO victory over Zarah Fairn on Feb. 29 after losing a unanimous decision to Cyborg last July. The 29-year-old Canadian is no stranger to titles, as she defeated Pam Sorenson for the vacant Invicta Fighting Championships belt in November 2018 before signing with the UFC four months later. You can see Wise's Spencer vs. Nunes picks here.

We'll share one of Wise's UFC 250 main-card picks here: He is backing Sean O'Malley (-575) to defeat Eddie Wineland (+425) in a bantamweight bout.

O'Malley (11-0) is a rising star in the UFC and could have even more victories under his belt if not for a two-year drought caused by hip surgery and a pair of suspensions for failed drug tests. The 25-year-old native of Montana has registered seven of his wins via knockout, including a first-round TKO on March 7 against Jose Alberto Quinonez.

Wineland (24-13-1) also has a penchant for knockouts, as 14 of his career wins, including the last four, have come in that fashion. Ten years O'Malley's senior, the former World Extreme Cagefighting and Total Fight Challenge bantamweight champion also hasn't been very active, fighting only three times since his TKO win over Takeya Mizugaki in December 2016.
