WATCH: First Lady Jill Biden holds virtual event to honor educators

WASHINGTON – The First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden, held a virtual event to honor the work of educators Thursday evening.

Dr. Biden was joined by the president of the American Federation of Teachers, Randi Weingarten, and the president of the National Education Association, Becky Pringle.

This her first event since the Biden administration took office.

The virtual event was scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
