Michigan Suffers Flooding After Two Dams Fail

May.20 -- Michigan announced an emergency evacuation after two dams collapsed. The Edenville Dam, at the base of Wixom Lake, failed amid high floodwaters in the area and the Sanford Dam, at the base of Sanford Lake, also failed, according to the National Weather Service, which issued a warning of "extremely dangerous flash flooding" in the area.
