The Senate worked through the night Friday on its version of the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package, spending hours trying to come to an agreement on unemployment benefits. The Senate bill will provide $300 a week in federal unemployment benefits until Sept. 6 and another round of stimulus checks.
