Oliver Dowden has pledged that the government will do 'whatever it takes' to stop English football clubs joining a breakaway European Super League (ESL) and announced a wider review into the governance of the sport. Addressing parliament after the announcement that six English clubs plan to become permanent members of an elite continental league.
