Brooklyn’s LaMarcus Aldridge announced his retirement from the NBA due to an irregular heartbeat, effectively immediately. The 35-year-old Aldridge felt the ailment during the Nets’ April 10 game vs. the Lakers that turned out to be the last of a stellar career.
