Pep Guardiola lambasts European Super League: 'It's not sport'
Pep Guardiola has hit out at plans for a European Super League, saying: 'It's not sport when there is no relation between effort and success, it's not sport. It's not sport if it doesn't matter if you lose.' Despite Manchester City being one of the 'Big Six' Premier League teams among the mooted new competition's founding members, Guardiola did not shy away from criticising the concept.
